Kiwi Dave’s Bombay Brinjal Chutney

Spicy Eggplant Chutney, made in Tasmania

A brilliant brand of a truly delicious range of tasty Tasmanian treats, Kiwi Dave has given us an absolute winner this time! This Bombay Brinjal Chutney has a story, of an Eggplant Chutney recipe, gifted to a kiwi kid, engaged to the daughter of a mother, who’s sister had the recipe handed to her from her mother’s, mother’s, auntie, 200 years ago…

Bombay > Sri Lanka > New Zealand > Tasmania

Does it even matter how it happened? We say it’s what’s in the jar that really matters!

Kiwi Dave serving suggestions, as a:

  • superb addition to a cheese board
  • delicious condiment with chicken, beef or lamb
  • effective facial scrub (just checking you are still reading)
  • rocket salad with mushrooms, asparagus, onion and prawns

You have to try it to believe it!

You won’t believe how incrediblly addictive, this cleverly crafted mix of flavours, chunky juiciness, and delicious spices is, until you try it for yourself.

If you like a spicy chutney, you must try Bombay Brinjal Chutney, by Kiwi Dave (proudly Tasmania’s adopted son).
