Van Diemen Chai Tea, by The Tea Equation

Van Diemen’s Land was notorious for unrelenting hard labour, with very little chance of escape. That’s how this incredible tea has been inspired, because Van Diemen Chai Tea is just what you need, after a bit of hard (or not so hard!) labour.

Escape the day’s travails over a refreshing cuppa!

Pepperberry

Simply drinking a refreshing cup of Van Diemen Chai is a great way to obtain rich, superior antioxidants. Not only has Pepperberry served Indigenous Australians as a flavouring agent for food over generations, but also as a traditional medicine. Due to being so high in antioxidants, Pepperberry has been documented as a treatment for a variety of illnesses including stomach ache and colic.

Potent Antioxidants

Four times more powerful than the renowned blueberry, Pepperberry’s health benefits are just as useful today as they have been over centuries.

Aromatic Spices

Allspice can help you get a good night’s sleep but can also reduce digestive issues such as nausea. It takes its name from its aroma, which smells like a combination of spices, especially cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg.

As a cure for nausea and vomitting, to support the immune system, and with anti-inflammatory properties

Ginger

Used for centuries as a cure for nausea and vomiting, caused by morning sickness and motion sickness. Ginger also contains compounds that fight to eliminate free radicals and toxins, which cause you to get sick in the first place. Ginger also works to prevent the immune system response that causes wheezing, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes in allergic reactions, and it also has anti-inflammatory properties that may help to ease muscle pain and joint pain
